We invite you to visit, explore, stay
awhile.
Downtown is a great place to get a sense of
Burlington's history, people and culture. Visit the
Historic Depot, enjoy the excellent May Memorial
Library, spend some quality time in our locally-owned
shops and eateries and don't miss an opportunity to
take in a show at the beautifully restored Paramount
Theater.
We think you'll feel right at
home.
A great place for your next adventure, we are
strategically located between the Triad and Triangle
regions of North Carolina. Downtown Burlington is one
of Alamance County's largest employment centers and
home to Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp),
one of the world's largest biomedical testing firms.
Come find out why Burlington is the downtown that
works!
Master
Plan Burlington is in the
midst of an exciting period of implementation following
the completion of our downtown master plan in April
2008. The BDC, City of Burlington and a host of
community partners have united to bring the plan vision
to life. The complete plan (4.48 MB pdf) is available
for download. Contact our office to see how you can be
involved!
