Executive Director Job Posting

The Burlington (NC) Downtown Corporation is seeking an executive director.  The mission of the Burlington Downtown Corporation is to creatively manage and enhance the development of downtown Burlington as the cultural, historic, social and economic center of the community.  The organization, in partnership with the City of Burlington, has recently completed a downtown master plan that identifies several public and private development initiatives that we plan to implement in the coming years. We seek a director who will further the mission of the organization and help implement the master plan.

The ideal candidate will have a degree from a four year college or university in business, planning, economics or a related field.  Professional experience which includes planning or downtown economic development is preferred.  A candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.  Please forward resumes by August 15th to Executive Director Search - Burlington Downtown Corporation at P.
